Brooklyn Interns for Arts and Culture

Take your love for the arts to the next level! Gear up for life after high school in this paid college, career, and life-readiness program. Get support with post-high school plans, learn critical wellness practices to manage life’s transitions, and go behind-the-scenes at BAM. BIAC is a great opportunity to discover what it takes to create a fulfilling career in the arts—all while building community.

SCHEDULE
This program runs in three sessions: Summer 2025 (one week in August), Fall 2025 (October through December), and Spring 2026 (February through June).

Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 programs happen one or two days per week after school from 4 to 6pm.
Application Deadline: Friday, June 6, 2025

QUALIFICATIONS
● Be a rising senior attending a high school in one of the five New York boroughs (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, or the Bronx)
● Have an interest in the arts, such as visual art, performance, media, design, literary arts, or arts professions
● Be willing to collaborate and learn with others
● Maintain an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher
● Provide an unofficial high school transcript
