The landmark debut feature by the trailblazing Menelik Shabazz is a vibrant drama that follows Pat (McFarlane), an independent young woman in London who strikes up a relationship with the mercurial Del (Romero). Before long, events take a tempestuous turn, and Pat begins a new journey to discovering her political consciousness.

Remastered in 2K by the British Film Institute

Featuring an introduction by series programmer Ashley Clark preceding the screening on Friday, May 3.
