Nestled in Old Havana is Calle Cuba, a street and city fixture that unites the lives of four women who embody both the resilience and fragility of an island in crisis. Anabel, a young actress, hesitates between pursuing her career in Cuba or emigrating to France to work as a cleaner. Dayana, 30, dreams of traveling to Russia and undergoing the surgery that will let her become the woman she has always felt inside. Mailén, mother of three, bears the scars of a childhood and a relationship marked by violence, while striving to sustain her family with optimism. Elvira, 74, endures scarcity while caring for her ailing husband. Invisible, everyday violence runs through their lives, yet never extinguishes their dreams. Together, they sustain the intimate pulse of a street and a nation.
