Kuroneko

In feudal Japan, two women are violently murdered by soldiers during a civil war, their bodies tossed aside and pawed at by a black cat. Their deaths spur something ominous: samurai returning from the war found with their throats torn out. The governor tasks a samurai with investigating the macabre murders, leading him down a mystifying path towards the otherworldly entity responsible.
