Sergeant DaSilva (Stallone) has to track down and neutralize two terrorist threats in this tense neo-noir. Malmuth’s solo directorial debut, the project was plagued by production problems, with Stallone himself stepping in to help direct and re-edit aspects of the dark cat-and-mouse game. Despite being used as a shooting location for the 57th and 42nd Street stations within the film, a pesky Hoyt-Schermerhorn sign made its way into the film’s final cut.
