Ngando and Ndomé share an extremely perfect love, but tradition demands a dowry be paid for Ndomé’s hand in marriage that Ngando, an orphan, cannot afford. Forced to ask family for assistance, Ngando finds himself at the mercy of his uncle’s lust and greed in this masterpiece of Cameroonian cinema about the power of tradition in the pursuit of love.
