Wuhan Narrative Shorts

Sat, May 3, 2025
    Part of
  • Wuhan, Different Every Day
  • and
  • BAM Film 2025
This collection of short films is an imaginative and vivid portrayal of the River City, diving into the city's consciousness. The three films, each with a unique style, depict an ordinary woman who has lost her beloved, a caretaker of silent beings, and a stranger disconnected from memory. Through physical contact with others, they seek to perceive their own existence. The city dwellers, driven by greed, anger, and delusion, are connected by the will to live and the contemplation of death. Amidst the chaos of supernatural forces and the constraints of reality, these stories showcase the demolition and reconstruction of Wuhan.
