When Omar, a young Palestinian freedom fighter accustomed to dodging surveillance bullets, is captured after a deadly act of resistance, he falls into a cat-and-mouse game with the military police.
In this loose adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, Phoenix teenager Terri Griffith (Hyser) is convinced her writing isn’t taken seriously because she is a girl. With the help of her brother, she begins passing as a boy in the hopes of winning a coveted journalism internship, coming face to face with the realities of gender-swapped high school life in the process.
